March 2026 — Laredo, TX As spring blossoms across South Texas, the United High School Band Boosters are striking up a new tune — one that blends music, community, and delicious food. On Tuesday from 4–8 p.m., Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers at 264 Bob Bullock Loop 20 will host a special fundraiser to support the Mighty Longhorn Band.
Eat for a Cause
During the event, 15% of all sales will be donated to the band program. Guests can participate by:
- Showing the event flyer in-store
- Telling the cashier they’re there for the fundraiser
- Use the code GIVEBACK when ordering online
Whether you’re dining in, grabbing a drive-thru meal, or ordering from home, every bite helps fuel the band’s future.
Why It Matters
The United High School Band Boosters, a nonprofit group, plays a vital role in supporting the school’s marching band and color guard. Their efforts fund uniforms, travel, instruments, and showcase events — including the annual Jolly Run 5K and seasonal performances.
