Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, Chadds Ford/West Chester
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opened a Wilmington Pike branch across from Penn Oaks Golf Club. Moreover, it is the second Pennsylvania location for the retro-style restaurant; the first one is in Broomall.
Steve DiMarco, the franchise owner, said we first opened in Metro-Philadelphia in 2012 and since then our main goal has been to build a strong relationship and good reputation with our local customers. We are excited to expand because our fans have been questioning it. Therefore, we feel that Wilmington Pike is the ideal place for the second location.
This location covers an area of 3,200 square feet. It has a seating place for 100 guests. There is also a drive-thru service option available for the guests. The menu items consist of lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs, and shoestring fries. There are dessert treats made up of a fresh choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
DiMarco said the top option for the guests is the Original Double combo meal. It consists of two steakburger patties that have special seasoning. It is also grilled until its edges become crispy. We put the cheese on the patties. We also add mustard, pickle planks, and onion slices on them. In addition, we serve it on a toasted bun along with the crispy shoestring fries.
