Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers Irmo 

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers started their branch in a third Columbia metro location. They opened this new branch in Irmo in the spring at 10611 Broad River Rd. This popular retro-style concept has two other area restaurants, one at 457 Killian Rd. in Columbia and another at 2879 Sunset Blvd. in West Columbia.

The feedback we got from our first two area sites was extremely wonderful. Brett Rickert is the franchise owner. He said we want to bring Freddy’s closer to guests in the Ballentine/Irmo area. Our distance of I-26 makes us an ideal lunch or dinner location for customers who want to come from Columbia.

This location covers an area of 3,010 square feet. This restaurant has a seating area for 96 guests. They also have additional seating options in the courtyard. You can also get drive-thru service there. Freddy’s is popular for their lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs, and shoestring fries. Their dessert treats are prepared with a choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned fresh throughout the day.

Rickert said we focus mainly on providing a lovely dining experience. He also added it will be one of their top priorities in the coming days. We also have an idea that there are a lot of customers with standard orders. Therefore, our team tries to ensure that whatever is part of the city Freddy’s must be available to provide quality food.
