Kansas-Based Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers Launches 2nd San Diego Location In San Marcos
Kansas-based Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has launched a new branch in San Marcos at 767 Center Drive in Nordahl Marketplace. It is the second restaurant in the San Diego area. The first one was launched in National City in October. They are also looking forward to opening the third branch in 4S Ranch.
The San Marcos restaurant has covered an area of 3,480 square feet. They also provide a drive-thru service to the customers. There is a place for seating for 100 people. There is also a courtyard. Freddy’s is very famous for their lean beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs, shoestring fries, and desserts. These dessert treats are made up of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard that is churned a lot of times in a day to keep it fresh.
The Director of Operations of 3Pointe Restaurant Group, Tim Rheem, said that Freddy’s steakburger is made of lean beef. The lean beef is cooked on a grill; as a result, its edges become crispy. They also offer signature Original Double burgers. This burger consists of two steakburger patties with melted cheese, onion slices, and pickles. All these things are provided on a toasted bun.
