Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers San Marcos
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opened its first branch in North County on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Freddy’s San Marcos address is 767 Center Drive in Nordahl Marketplace. This is the second Freddy’s branch in the San Diego metro market site. Earlier, at the beginning of October, it opened a branch in National City.
Tim Rheem, Director of Operations for 3Pointe Restaurant Group, said every Freddy’s steakburger is made of high-quality, lean ground beef. The beef is cooked on a grill to make the edges crispy. The Original Double Burger is considered one of the best, consisting of two patties, melted cheese, onions, and pickles. All these things are served on a toasted bun.
This branch covers an area of 3,480 square feet. This location has space for the seating of 100 guests. Moreover, there is an additional courtyard attached with a place for extra guests to sit. You can also get drive-thru service. The working hours of the branch are Sunday through Thursday, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Whereas the working hours on Friday and Saturday are 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Freddy’s is popular for lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs, and shoestring fries. In addition, there is also an option for dessert treats. The dessert treats are made up of a churned choice of chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
Rheem said you will only understand the charm of Freddy’s after tasting the frozen custard. It is richer, denser, and creamier than regular ice cream. The reason is that it passes through a churning process that removes excess air and ice crystals. You can serve it in the form of shake, malt, sundae, or concrete. Moreover, you can utilize any of our 30 toppings and mix-ins.
